2023 Drew Esquivel Duals Recap
On Sunday 11/19, Esquivel Duals was a success! There were many good matches, and MIT’s wrestlers kicked off the season with a bang. It was also wonderful to have special guests Mr. and Mrs. Andy Esquivel and two former MIT wrestling coaches (John Bosco and Chad Girard) in attendance. Though MIT’s wrestlers were challenged by going up a weight bracket (or two) in many of their matches, the small but mighty team started off the season on the right foot, racking up a total of 12 wins, 5 of which were pins.
